Boxer Characteristics

Boxers got their Name because of the Characteristics of using their Front paws like a Boxer, especially when they enthusiastically greet you, play with their Toys and even playfully attack their food bowl. They have a beautiful, shiny, short, tan and brown coat with white markings throughout.

When you pick a Boxer as your Best Friend, you can count on him waiting for you with a boisterous Welcome Home and you can rely on him to take care of your Property, while you are away.  He makes an excellent Watchdog and will defend his Domain against intruders. In spite of what may seem as aggressive Characteristics, he is reliable around Children and very loyal to his Family.

He is a very powerful Dog and needs to be trained at an early age not to jump on people, since he can easily knock someone off their feet, especially Children. In his Enthusiasm, he means no harm.
